Mentor Training Retreat
Holding the Container
April 17-19, 2026
Joshua Tree, CA
There comes a moment when lived experience asks to be offered;
when having made it through the darkness,
we turn back and extend our hand to others.

A Life with Purpose
This retreat serves as initiation into responsible guidance, supporting transition from personal healing into service rooted in clear boundaries, relational ethics and attuned compassion

By the end of the weekend, participants will:
Have a clear understanding of their personal mentorship style and strengths.
Be able to identify and understand how to uphold healthy boundaries in mentoring relationships.
Demonstrate foundational skills for holding space ethically and compassionately.
Have practical strategies to integrate somatic awareness into guidance and support.
Create a personal plan for continuing their growth as a mentor, including reflection exercises, journaling practices, and actionable next steps.
Step into a weekend designed to guide you from personal healing into mindful, ethical, and compassionate service. Set on a serene 5-acre retreat property, our space offers rustic-modern glamping with breathtaking views, a hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, and quiet corners for reflection.

Friday – Arrival & Opening
Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your accommodations. We gather for an opening circle to set intentions, create a safe container, and begin the journey inward. Gentle somatic practices, guided meditation, mindful movement and journaling help you ground and prepare for the weekend ahead.

Saturday – Experiential Learning & Embodiment
Awaken to a day of deep exploration: workshops and exercises focused on self-awareness, clear boundaries, and ethical mentorship.
Engage in somatic practices, peer exercises, and real-world role-play to bring the principles of responsible guidance to life.
Take quiet moments for journaling, one-on-one reflection with facilitators, and restorative sessions designed to integrate learning.
Nature walks, mindful movement, and sound healing sessions reconnect you to your body, your breath, and the land. In the evening, step out for a special group excursion, returning with space for reflection under the stars.

Sunday – Integration & Closing
Begin the day grounded in somatic practice and mindful awareness.
We close the weekend with a reflective circle, sharing insights, honoring growth, and committing to the next steps of your mentorship journey. Optional one-on-one check-ins provide space for guidance and personal reflection before departure.

Throughout the weekend, every practice and experience—from quiet reflection to sound healing—supports your transition into service rooted in clarity, boundaries, and care.

Once accepted, a donation between $500 and $750 secures your space on the retreat and goes towards scholarships
